Robin Roy, Director, Building Energy and Clean Energy Strategy, Washington, DC
Besides raising my two kids, my life’s work has been to help meet society’s need for secure, economic, and clean energy. I’m particularly drawn to the practicalities of effective public policy, the capabilities of dynamic and emerging businesses, and the opportunity created by technological and institutional innovation. There is a vast amount of cost-effective energy efficiency waiting to be tapped throughout our economy, and tremendous dynamism in bringing cleaner and cheaper energy technologies to market. Our future is bright, as long as we get on with it.
