A new poll reveals that most people in Nevada support clean, green energy.
Nearly 90% of those polled believe investing in renewable energy -- such as wind, solar and geothermal -- would create good-paying jobs in the state.
In fact, Nevadans of all stripes favor clean energy. Here is the breakdown of voters polled: Republicans (85%); Democrats (89%); Independents (94%).
The poll findings come at a good time, as a coalition called Nevada Clean Energy Campaign is fighting off efforts to construct new coal-fired power plants in the state.
Why gamble on coal when clean is a sure bet?

Nevada seems like a perfect place to take advantage of green energy options. Lots of light for solar. Plenty of wind in some areas.
Think about how cool it would be to be able to brag about the Las Vegas Strip being lit up by green energy sources?
