Asian Carp Plan Problematic, Adapting to Climate Change, How Efficient is Your TV?

Thom Cmar criticized a new federal plan for keeping Asian carp out of the Great Lakes in the Wall Street Journal… Henry Henderson spoke with a number of outlets, including the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and Illinois Radio Network as well; in the Sentinel Henry emphasized that he found the plan very “underwhelming” and described it as “more politically negotiated than scientifically based”… A ClimateWire article carried by the New York Times described a new service proposed by Obama to deal with climate change adaptation; the article lists NRDC as one of the environmental leaders supporting the service… Michael Wall was quoted in a The Times-Herald article about the Bay Area’s decaying “ghost fleet”… And an article penned by Noah Horowitz on large TV ownership and energy savings was picked up and circulated by McClatchy news service.
