The Washington Post’s The Plum Line blog reported on a new ad from Robert Redford in which he calls on President Obama to take action and move America toward clean energy solutions... In an hour long LIVE interview on NPR's On Point, Dan Lashof explained why a time-out on offshore drilling is needed and how the Gulf oil spill serves as a reminder of why the U.S. needs to push towards comprehensive energy reform... Henry Henderson spoke to the Chicago Tribune about the role location will play when it comes to choosing a high court to try any litigation around the Gulf oil spill... In an interview with Climatewire carried by the New York Times John Steelman highlighted that we could extract far more oil from existing U.S. wells by using enhanced oil recovery techniques than we could ever extract through new offshore oil drilling...

Franz Matzner pointed out the differences between good and bad biofuels, in terms of carbon production, in another Greenwire piece carried by the New York Times... A recent NRDC report on the enduring damage caused by mountaintop removal mining was the focus of an article in The Charleston Gazette; report was also covered by The Lexington-Herald.
