The Wall Street Journal cited John Walke’s blog post denouncing claims that EPA’s new health standard for smog pollution would stunt economic growth… Bob Deans appeared on Fox Business’ Stossel Show with John Stossel to discuss the new federal fuel-economy and emissions standards for big trucks; Bob emphasized that these fuel efficient cars are not coming at the expense of safety… Roland Hwang explained that environmental policy can go hand-in-hand with economic policy in a Greenwire article carried by the New York Times

Susan Casey-Lefkowitz discussed about the bipartisan efforts to strengthen federal oversight for pipelines safety in a SolveClimate News article picked up by Reuters; NRDC’s report on the tar sands pipeline safety risks was also highlighted in the article… NRDC was mentioned in another Reuters piece about our call for a more focused study into tar sands crude corrosion in pipelines… USA Today cited an NRDC study on the cost of climate change… CNN referred to NRDC’s report, "Thirsty for Answers" on how hotter summers and fluctuating water levels in lakes and oceans due to climate change will damage water and sewer systems in the coming decades…
