The New Lite Green - Fewer snowmobiles and oil rigs and more of that next generation power you love!

Nathanael Greene talks about moving on to the next generation of power on ABC's Good Morning America [Watch] ... Luke Tonachel addresses the possibilities of plugging-in America's autos while minimizing impact on the power grid in Time magazine ... Dan Lashof discusses alternative, low carbon, fuels in Indiana's News Sentinel telling readers that the next generation of ethanol could start appearing within five years ... California's Contra Costa Times praises NRDC for our beach water quality report and our work pressuring EPA to better regulate the safety of beach water...

The New York Times and several other outlets report on a major environmental victory: in response to a lawsuit by NRDC and other environmental groups a federal judge ruled against the Bush administration's plan to allow more than 500 snowmobiles a day into Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, stating that the proposal was not in keeping with the National Park Service's responsibility to protect the parks... And marking an ideological victory, the St. Petersburg Times reports that "as both houses of Congress consider expanding offshore drilling, the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association has joined with the environmental groups in the Florida Coastal and Ocean Coalition" to oppose offshore drilling.
