The Cleaning of California

Andrew Wetzler wrote a powerfully worded Op-Ed in the LA Times, criticizing the Bush administration and calling on Congress to put a stop to the administration’s attempt to gut the Endangered Species Act… The Associated Press, San Jose Mercury News, and the Sacramento Bee emphasize the shortsightedness and risky mediocrity of California’s Prop 7, so-called “renewable energy bill”… In AP Ralph Cavanagh says he thinks the proposition would obstruct and delay renewable energy development in California… Ralph is also quoted in the San Jose Mercury News’ anti-Prop 7 Editorial …Craig Noble emphasizes that the bill was put together by “people who didn’t know what they were doing” in the Sacramento Bee…In the LA Times David Pettit reaffirms expectations of success for California’s Clean Trucks program at the LA and Long Beach ports…Luke Tonachel highlights the importance of greening the energy grid as more environmentally friendly plug-in hybrids roll out onto American roads in the New Jersey Star Ledger.

Tune in Alert: Nathanael Greene will speak about renewable energy on Good Morning America tomorrow morning, please tune in!
