An Examiner.com article included Frances Beinecke’s book ‘Clean Energy Common Sense’ in a short list of favorite books in 2009… In the Wall Street Journal  Barbara Finamore spoke about growing environmental awareness in China and the important leadership roles that individuals and Chinese companies are playing in the climate battle… Ann Alexander discussed NRDC’s new approach to BP’s Whiting refinery and preventing local pollution increases in the Northwest Indiana TimesNathanael Greene spoke about the potential future benefits of a mandatory, multistate low-carbon fuel standard in the New Haven Register… In the Helena Independent Record Louisa Willcox and Matt Skoglund emphasized that though wolf populations have grown in the west, the wolves still need to be protected in order for the species to truly recover… And Arkansas’ News 5 carried an article online touting the benefits of local seasonal cuisine, driving readers to NRDC’s eat local webtool for advice on what to eat, where, and when.
