On NPR’s To the Point, Frances Beinecke spoke about the shortcomings and concerns surrounding Obama’s off-shore drilling proposal. An Op-Ed by Frances on the Obama announcement also ran in USA Today’s “Opposing Views” section... Roland Hwang spoke with NPR’s Marketplace about the new fuel efficiency standards for automobiles… In a Washington Post article on the same subject, David Doniger explained the benefits of these new car standards… And Deron Lovaas explained the new standards in an ABC7 TV (Washington) television news piece… In a New York Times print article Jon Devine commented on a new policy to limit water pollution caused by coal mining… In a CNN News Blog,  Louisa Willcox stressed that the number of grizzly bear hunting permits must be reduced in order to assure a sustainable population of the bears… In an Associated Press article NRDC was cited as one of the environmental organizations to sue the government to stop the construction of a coal fired power plant in Michigan… Lane Burt explained the benefits of President Obama’s efficiency rules for home water heaters in USA Today’s Green House blog
