In a CNN piece Wesley Warren explains how repowering America with clean energy can create jobs, bolster the economy, and establish America's energy independence... In a McClatchy Newspapers article detailing the failure of an Air Force plan to build a coal-to-liquid plant in Montana Henry Henderson contends that coal-to-liquid technology, along with being incredibly dirty, is also incredibly expensive and could never independently become financially competitive...In Reuters Noah Horowitz talks about the logic behind the nation's first mandatory TV energy efficiency requirements as written in California... A Wall Street Journal blog piece discusses attempts between environmental groups and the auto industry over the past several months to find common ground regarding California's tailpipe emissions regulations... And the Chi Town Daily News profiles Henry Henderson and his work in Chicago, with a special focus on Henry's theory that the Midwest, as the birthplace of  generations of economic innovation, could be a leader in guiding America out of this recession.
