As part of my authoring process for Keyboard Culture Global Warming, I've been researching the state of the marketplace for novice investors. I have been AMAZED at how much money is being thrown as such abominations as Canadian tar sands. There are plenty of people who simply don't give a hoot about clean air and water, despite knowing in the back of their mind that we need these things in order to survive.
