NRDC’s comment letter to the Los Angeles City Planning Department regarding the proposed construction of a 72,000-seat football stadium and Convention Center expansion in downtown Los Angeles served as the foundation for a Los Angeles Times editorial, supporting NRDC’s work and pushing for improvements in the project’s environmental review and planning …
Eric Goldstein spoke to the New York Times in response to a proposal to build a waste-to energy plant in New York City, saying “The most economical and environmentally sound first step is to recreate and reform our recycling program”… The Wall Street Journal named NRDC as supporters of a compromise that would shrink and move a high-profile resort project away from New York City’s water supply, following public opposition and an environmental review… The Washington Post published a Q&A with NRDC’s Young Food Leader Andrea Northup and highlighted her Growing Green Award honors….
