The Telegraph UK quoted from and referenced Frances Beinecke’s  New York Times op-ed piece, where she argued that Shell should not be allowed to drill in the Arctic… In a Fortune Magazine article, Linda Greer encouraged companies to join NRDC’s “Clean by Design” program, which offers best practices to help major retailers reduce energy and improve manufacturing efficiency… In a Salt Lake Tribune piece, Monty Schmitt warned that further oil shale development in Utah and Colorado could deplete the Colorado River Basin and cause an environmental and economic disaster…

Darby Hoover was quoted in a San Francisco Chronicle piece about the California Carpet Stewardship Bill, which requires manufacturers to participate in carpet take-back (recycling) programs… In a NRDC OnEarth article, featured in Grist Magazine, Lisa Suatoni described how ocean acidification, which is caused from too much carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, is lethal to many shell-building creatures, including young clams and oysters… Nathanael Greene explained to The Epoch Times how the proposed Clean Fuel Standard will promote cleaner fuel, improve local economies, and reduce greenhouse gases.
