On CNN's Anderson Cooper 360, Gina Solomon refuted claims by the FDA that their testing methodology for Gulf seafood was adequate, and explained why eating seafood contaminated with oil is dangerous to children and unborn fetuses… Bloomberg quoted David Goldston and Scott Slesinger on how spending cuts resulting from the supercommittee failure to reach a deficit reduction agreement could impact the environment and public health… Also in Bloomberg, Susan Casey-Lefkowitz commented on the many reasons tar sands is not good for America, including risks of disastrous oil spills in the country's heartland and increased reliance on dirty fossil fuels…
