Kate Sinding spoke with WXXI, New York’s NPR affiliate, about the possibility of a lawsuit if the final rules for gas drilling in New York State are not strong enough… The Associated Press highlighted NRDC’s lawsuit against the Port of Long Beach over its decision to settle the federal lawsuit against it without public involvement… In the Sacramento Bee Doug Obegi expressed his hope that the California fall Chinook salmon run sustains a healthy fish population so it does not have to be listed as an endangered species… Environment News Service quoted Aaron Colangelo extensively about NRDC’s recent legal victory preventing the pesticide spirotetramat from being sold, in large part because of its toxicity to honey bees… TreeHugger directed readers to OnEarth for its participation in an online green initiative, “Carnival of the Green”… Andrew Wetzler was featured in Scholastic’s ScienceWorld “I Want That Job!” section about how to become an environmental lawyer.
