In honor of Earth Day, Good Morning America ran a segment on ocean acidification using footage from NRDC’s Acid Test; the show’s website also ran two articles, here and here, on ocean acidification, including hyperlinks to NRDC in both … The Today Show advised viewers wanting to go green to check out the home energy savings calculators on NRDC’s www.SimpleSteps.org… Simple Steps also got some attention yesterday when the number-one story on Mashable.com (the third-most trafficked blog on the web) listed Wendy Gordon and Paul McRandle’s Label Lookup as one of the "10 Free iPhone Apps to Help You Go Green for Earth Day"; Also in Earth Day news, Reuters reported that the “A Bid to Save the Earth” green auction at Christie’s auction house netted nearly $2 million for environmental groups…
