Gulf Disaster Requires Full Investigation; Cape Wind, Clean Power Today; White House Dinner Goes Green, Clean Trucks Program Update

In an ABC News article Bob Deans called for a “full, comprehensive, independent investigation” into the recent oil spill disaster off the coast of Louisiana… In a Boston Herald article about the approval of the Cape Wind energy project, Frances Beinecke commented that this “shows us we can repower our country, we can do it the right way, and we can start today”… In a Cape Cod Online article on the same topic, Kit Kennedy explained that opponents would likely not be able to stop the project from moving forward.
Another ABC News article mentioned NRDC’s partnership with the White House to make the annual White House Correspondents Association Dinner more environmentally friendly… In a Politico article on the same topic, Allen Hershkowitz emphasized that the greening efforts were simply a matter “of operating more efficiently and choosing environmentally better products”… SoCal’s Daily Breeze newspaper reported that as NRDC’s lawsuit defending California’s Clean Trucks Program drew to a close the Judge in the case toured the port to be effected by the plan.
