In a Washington Post Letter to the Editor, Barbara Finamore challenged claims made in a recent Op-Ed calling the greening of China “a myth”… In a HybridCars article carried by Reuters Roland Hwang commented to on the role hybrids will play in achieving the next round of efficiency standards in 2025… In a Greenwire article carried by the New York Times, Kaid Benfield spoke about the need to consider a building’s location and proximity to public transportation when evaluating its environmental impact… Larry Levine spoke with E&E News about Philadelphia’s efforts to implement green infrastructure …

In an Ieee Spectrum article comparing the recent nuclear crisis in Japan to Chernobyl, Tom Cochran discussed the long term health consequences of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster… David Pettit was quoted in the Financial Times about the price tag BP will have to pay for the Gulf oil disaster…  Care2.com reported on NRDC’s annual Growing Green Awards, which honor the work of sustainable companies and individuals in the food industry…

China is not greening but they are making attempts to change. Just this week at the China auto-show 100 companies revealed 100 different battery powered vehicles. That just shows that the Chinese government isn't ran by huge multi-national corporations!
