In a CNN.com article, Wesley Warren recommended alternatives to President Obama’s plan to expand Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico oil and gas drilling… In a CNNMoney.com piece about this issue, Wesley explained that there is a right way and a wrong way to provide for our nation’s future energy needs… A Wall Street Journal article about EPA’s proposal to rescind a Bush-era emissions rule credited NRDC for inspiring the move… The Associated Press announced a settlement in the “ghost fleet” case between the U.S. Maritime Administration, NRDC and other environmental groups that will result in the removal of over 50 decaying ships leaking toxic materials into California’s Suisan Bay by 2017… Roland Hwang explained why California’s gas demand may continue to decrease, even after the economy recovers, in a San Francisco Chronicle piece about state gasoline sales falling for the fourth year in a row… The San Francisco Chronicle also reported that the San Joaquin River has finally reconnected with San Francisco Bay, more than 20 years after NRDC and other groups filed a lawsuit to replenish the river…
