On KNPR, Nevada Public Radio, NRDC consultant Timothy Hay talks about the shortcomings and flaws of a Nevada global warming solutions report recently published by a state appointed committee… In the Missoulian, Chuck Magraw talks about the growing demand for green collar employees in Montana… The San Diego Union Tribune reports on California’s smart growth bill; Annie Notthoff, one of NRDC’s lead negotiators on the bill, talks about the bill’s role in the fight against global warming … Henry Henderson penned an Op-Ed in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel outlining the urgent invasive species problem in the Great Lakes and the need for a multi-party approach to the problem, rather than the limited approach suggested by a US Senate bill… In the LA Business Journal, David Pettit points out that the Port of LA’s fears were unfounded, and time has shown that trucking companies still want to use the port, even with stricter pollution standards…

you blame my car for co2 contamination,yet

big business manufactures it by the tons.

they use it readly ,in cleaning , packaging

they say it is enviromently friendly ,why is

not my auto

Hi Henry-

We believe that the global warming pollution that comes from your car is concerning because vehicles are one of the the two largest sources of CO2 emissions (the other is coal fired power plants).

To control global warming and preserve the earth for future generations, we need to cut back car and power plant emissions ASAP.

As for using CO2 for cleaning...Many companies that have been allowed for decades to pollute for free are now finally being brought into line with others who must pay to clean up their harmful waste-- I would be wary of the promises or claims that companies like those make.
