Gina Solomon spoke to CBS Evening News about air quality issues associated with the oil spill in the Gulf… In a Wall Street Journal article, John Walke explained that the acid rain market is a viable model for future cap and trade programs… A Businessweek article on global climate solutions quoted Jake Schmidt saying, “Climate finance is one of the keys to unlocking a wider global warming pact”…

 

Nicole Lederer penned an op-ed for Politico about America’s “failed energy policy” and need for comprehensive climate and energy legislation… In a Greenwire article picked up by the New York Times, John Devine stressed that the fact that the EPA needed to rule the L.A. River is "navigable" in order to protect it just shows how backwards the laws are… David Beckman was also quoted in this article, stressing that the size or amount of water in a river doesn’t affect its ecological importance to the surrounding area…

 

Matt Skoglund spoke to Missoula’s KPAX-TV (CBS station), expressing disappointment that wolf hunting will once again be allowed this year, calling it “premature” due to all the threats facing wolves…
