The appointment of Frances Beinecke by President Obama to the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and Offshore Drilling Commission was covered by numerous outlets, including: The Wall Street Journal, The Associated Press, The Los Angeles Times, CNN, NPR, and The Washington Post to name a few... An Op-Ed by David Pettit on the need to rethink energy exploration and its risks was carried by Politico... David was also quoted in an article prominently featured on Politico about the need for federal government leadership in managing the spill... Though not included in clips, David also spoke with the BBC more than 5 times in the past 3 weeks about the impacts of the spill... Michael Jasny spoke with the Denver Post about the need for more scientific information on the world’s oceans so that we can better understand the impacts of events such as the Gulf oil spill... In an interview with ConsumerAffairs.com, Gina Solomon highlighted some of the many health concerns facing fishermen hired by BP...
