Dale Bryk appeared on the Today Show this morning for a special environmentally-themed “Who Knew?” segment which involved a sustainability and energy-saving trivia game with Kathie Lee and Hoda… The Los Angeles Times reported that members of the Bus Riders Union as well as NRDC’s Adrian Martinez protested yesterday against fare hikes proposed by the Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority… In the Daily Breeze, Melissa Lin Perrella discussed the flaws of the American Trucking Association’s challenges to Port of Los Angeles’ operations… 

 

Adrianna Quintero’s Switchboard blog was quoted in a blog post by the Florida Times-Union discussing the overwhelming support from minority communities for clean, renewable energy and carbon dioxide regulation… Linda Escalante discussed clean energy on SoCal’s local Telemundo yesterday… An article in The Independent (UK) discussed NBC Universal’s green-themed week and the network’s partnership with Christie's A Bid to Save the Earth Green Auction, which will raise funds for NRDC and other environmental groups…
