Anthony Swift was quoted in a Bloomberg BusinessWeek story about Nebraska Gov. Heineman’s call for a special legislative session to consider ways the state may change the proposed route of the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline; Anthony was also included in a Calgary Herald piece about the hearing in the heart of Canadian oil country…

In a McClatchy Newspapers story picked by up the Sacramento Bee and Miami Herald, John Walke criticized the House Republicans’ plan to delay new boiler pollutions rules as an attack on the Clean Air Act… Jake Schmidt was quoted in the New York Times Green blog about the House’s decision to pass a bill that would make it illegal for American airlines to participate in the European Union’s carbon cap system, which charges companies for exceeding their emissions limit…

Rocky Kistner and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. were mentioned in Arianna Huffington’s article in Huffington Post, carried by South Florida SunSentinel.com, that honored “Game Changers” who make the world better…  Huffington Post featured The New York Times video op-ed produced by NRDC Trustee Robert Redford urging President Obama to oppose the Keystone XL pipeline… NRDC was cited in a Wall Street Journal article about China’s nuclear capabilities… The Guardian UK referred to NRDC’s report, "Climate Change, Water, and Risk" on the high risk of water shortages across many U.S. counties to make clear the threat being tackled by the beer industry in creating new water efficiency tactics…
