A Congress.org article on celebrity advocacy mentioned Sigourney Weaver’s tireless campaigns on behalf of NRDC… Grist.org ran an article on NRDC’s “Smarter Cities” project, which highlights 22 American cities displaying energy leadership; the article was also highlighted in Grist’s e-newsletter… Ann Alexander was quoted in the Chicagoist about the disastrous state of the Chicago River, which “is made up of 60-100% water dumped from the District’s treatment plants,” and how the river needs to be cleaned up… In trade publication Green Electronics Daily Noah Horowitz discussed the importance of regulating TV energy use, working with the California Energy Commission to get efficiency rules in place, and facing challenges from industry interests.
