A Globe and Mail piece on tar sands referenced the NYTimes.com video op-ed featuring NRDC Trustee Robert Redford as a leading example of U.S. criticism of the Keystone XL pipeline proposal… An Associated Press story, picked up by Bloomberg Businessweek, ABCNews.com and CBSNews.com, covered NRDC’s lawsuit announced today against two leading California railroad operators over air quality and public health issues for people living nearby two Southern California rail yards; David Pettit also gave a statement to the Los Angeles Business Journal about the lawsuit, citing the companies' non-responsiveness as the reason for the necessity of the suit…

The Washington Post’s ombudsman offered a mea culpa to NRDC after Ed Chen wrote to point out the misspelling of our name twice in a story. Omblog made the correction and offered that given our influence in town, reporters and copyeditors alike at The Washington Post should know our name…..
