Walkers, be careful out there (video)

Walkers, be careful out there (video)

Streetfilms has come through again with a great (if unsettling) 2-minute video on the hazards of crossing city streets.  It was shot in New York, but it could have been made in any number of places where car-pedestrian interactions are less than amicable.  Enjoy:

On a related note, earlier this week I was driving in the early evening when I heard a loud emergency siren, which I couldn't see or be sure from where it was coming.  So I did the responsible thing and stopped to let it pass.  Sure enough, the driver behind me started blowing his horn.  Jeez.
