Nice short video on walkable street design

This short video features both a good and a not-so-good segment of the same road in Kansas City. In both cases, the roadway is a bit wider than one might prefer for a pedestrian district, but the design details in one of them are much better suited for walking and more of a neighborhood feel. The video comes from 180 Degree Design in Kansas City and one of its principals, Kevin Klinkenberg:
