DC's great revitalization story: Columbia Heights (video)

One of DC's best stories of revitalization-in-the-making is the Columbia Heights neighborhood, north of downtown.  In this terrific video produced by the National Building Museum and narrated by my friend Harriet Tregoning, head of the DC Office of Planning, see how the key elements - great transit, good preserved housing stock, new density, mixed uses and retail, mixed incomes, walkability, and civic space - come together to make a great green place:
