I grew up in a small, woodsy town on the Delaware River in New Jersey were I spent most of my childhood outdoors with my family, reading books, and playing music. I continued to do much of the same as I got older, graduating from Wheaton College (in Massachusetts) with a bachelor degree in English and a minor in Music.
I moved to New York City and came to NRDC straight out of college, joining the Urban Program as a Research Fellow in 2007. I work primarily on the greening of sports, entertainment, and businesses, helping large events, facilities, sports teams, companies, and organizations to reduce their environmental footprint by adopting greener practices in their daily operations and procurement.
