Cartoons don’t rot kids’ brains; cartoons with no message rot kids’ brains. Shows like Nickelodeon’s Avatar: The Last Airbender (of which I have watched the entire series… twice) and Legend of Korra actually have a pretty good message: the Earth and the systems we rely on are delicate and if we push them too hard we risk losing control and causing a lot of harm to just about everyone and everything. Kids that watch these shows get that message, and we want to make sure that they have every opportunity to act like their shows’ heroes and help their communities and the planet. This is why we are partnering with Nickelodeon and airing these ads in the lead up to Earth Day:

Unlike Avatar, no all-powerful hero will protect our communities and planet, but you can. Find how you can get involved here.
