About
- Bio:
I grew up in the L.A. area and am a die-hard Dodgers and UCLA Bruins fan. My wife, Lynn, is a sculptor and painter. We have two grown daughters who we’d like to call us more often. I also play guitar and bass in a klezmer band.
- Roots in:
- Jazz. Bebop, modal, 1960’s hard bop, the Blue Note catalog, Bill Evans.
- Favorite place:
- Anywhere in the Sierra Nevada range.
- Why "environmentalism" matters:
- I think that we need to eliminate the notions that the physical world is here for us to exploit and that we don’t need to clean up the messes we make in it. If we don’t, the world of “Blade Runner” will look good by comparison.
