There is a great little film about Wyoming's wild Red Desert posted on our sister blog, greenlight, part of OnEarth magazine. At NRDC we are working hard to protect the Red Desert through advocacy, litigation, and education. The Red Desert is part of our Yellowstone/Greater Rockies BioGem. Threatened by irresponsible oil and gas development, the Red Desert is a stunning landscape of badlands and sagebrush that provides vital wildlife habitat to pronghorn, elk, sage grouse, golden eagles, prairie falcons, mountain lions, and more. This film helps tell the story of what we are working to protect.
