Students with nosebleeds, dizziness, disorientation and nausea from natural gas drilling near a Barnett Shale high school

An alarming article in the Denton Record-Chronicle in the Barnett Shale recently reported on students with health symptoms attributed to air emissions from natural gas wells drilling operations near Argyle High School. The Argyle-Bartonville Communities Alliance has been compiling incidents of local kids feeling ill near the school. Symptoms include asthma, dizziness, nosebleeds, chest pains, and nausea.
Sadly, this is not the first report about children's health being harmed by drilling operations; I recently blogged about another incident. An excellent book about the health risks of oil and gas operations near schools, in this case in Beverly Hills, California, is "The Poisoning of an American High School" by Joy Horowitz.
